People often ask me how long I have been performing magic. Well here is a short film of my first attempts at magic in 1958, you do the math. Not very good magic but even the longest journey starts with one step.
Some people play badminton in their back yards
Notice, no watch. I am so bad!
I recently had the pleasure of performing with Shawn Farquhar at Magicfest 2005 in Courtenay. Shawn recently won the title of World Champion at the International Brotherhood of Magicians competition. Not only did he win it for the Grande Illusion but also for close-up magic. He is the only magician in the history of the IBM to win both titles in one year. What a performer and genuinely nice guy. If you get the chance to see him take it.
Teaching the groom some new tricks.
What! In a lemon!!!
"We had so much fun together
At the Magicfest 2005 I enjoyed the performances of Clinton W. Gray - The Prestidigitainer and Tony Eng. Both these magicians are award winners and great showmen and downright fun guys. We played a full house and the audience was great.
Even I don't know how that happened!
I was saddened to learn that Tony Eng passed away near the beginning of May 2008 after a hard fought and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 61. Far too young. Tony was an amazing magician and great friend who was one of the people instrumental in getting me back into magic after many years away from the art. He will always be remembered.

Ouch, that's hot!!!
A fist bump for the bride (I know! I look a little weird!)
I don't see a thing in there either.
This is Sue and I with our good friends Ariel and Rochelle of QueBola Magic backstage at the Vancouver Island Exhibition after their performance. As usual a great show. Check out their website on my links page.
I had the pleasure of performing for the Raymond James customer appreciation day. This is my friend Florence. 90 years old and as sharp as a tack. We had a great time as you can see.
Had a great time this weekend entertaining over 400 people at the Campbell River Salmon Federation. Great bunch of people and had a wonderful time. Thanks for having me there.
A few pictures from the Nanoose Bay Catspan fundraiser. Full house and lots of fun people.
